Yuanyuan Luo

Yuanyuan Luo is a PhD student in Environmental Science and Engineering at Tsinghua University, joining the program in 2025. Her research focuses on the assessment of the environmental impact of large-scale photovoltaic (PV) microclimates.

Currently, her work investigates the local ecological benefits of solar panels at a national scale. She utilizes the Community Earth System Model (CESM) to simulate physical processes, aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the eco-environmental feedback generated by renewable energy infrastructures.
